| For twenty years we raised Paints and Quarter Horses. After our kids were grown we decided we needed a change of pace. In 1997, we started with a mule, a standard donkey and a mammoth. It just took one look at the miniature donkeys to know we had to have one, now we have twenty-six! Since 1997, we have participated at 16 to 22 shows per year. Much of the time our grand-daughter Haley has shown with us. Haley started showing at the age of five. She is now sixteen and an accomplished showman competing in halter, showmanship, coon jumping, driving, trail, color, matched pairs, costume and driving. She also is helps feed, clip, bathe and train babies. |
| Thom-ass Acres is located in east central Indiana, seventy miles east of Indianapolis and seventy miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio. We love visitors and encourage you to come for a visit and meet our donkeys. Jerry is retired and his favorite hobby is talking donkey! |
